More Recipes

More Recipes is a hand-printed book in an edition of 11. The interior pages are lithographs; the cover is a lithograph and letterpress on paper over boards. The entire contents are above--sorry for the poor scans.

Abstract Comics

I have a piece in the forthcoming anthology Abstract Comics, published by Fantagraphics and edited by Andrei Molotiu. A portion of my art can be seen at the top left corner of the back cover of the book.

The anthology should be available later this month. As well, a very interesting blog devoted to abstract comics has been created, and features work by many of the book's contributors.

Blue Umbrella

Two lithographs. The first one is somewhat clotted and heavy--too many competing layers of color. I prefer the second version, with two layers of color; unfortunately, I printed it as an afterthought, and there's only this one.

The shiny/metallic surface on the second print is the result of brushing powdered pigment on the still-tacky ink.
